Minecraft Java Edition · 26.1.2

A world with
a history.

Halsir is a lore-driven survival world. It has an official canon, player-founded religions, and a forge that was lit before you arrived and is still burning. Not a blank map — somewhere that already has a story.

The saga

Halsir is a place, not a server type

“A new world has been found, a new forge set a blaze, new enemies created, and new friends been made.”

Most worlds are a map and a set of plugins. Halsir has canon — an official history, kept by staff, that takes precedence over anything a player writes. It means the world’s past cannot be rewritten by whoever argues loudest.

Players may found religions and write prophecies. None of it grants powers, authority or land, and nobody can be written into your story without your consent. That last rule is what makes deep roleplay safe enough to actually attempt.

Canon

An official history, kept by staff, that outranks player lore.

The stone of laws

Short rules, seriously meant

Three essentials cover almost everything. The rest exists because it has had to.

Respect

Treat everyone with kindness and empathy. This is a community not a battlefield.

Fair play

NO cheats, NO shortcuts, and NO game breaking glitches.

Staff

Staff are here to help keep things running smoothly. They are volunteers giving their time to this world — treat them with the same respect you would want.

The beacon

Vote, and the world grows

Five listings, once each per day. Votes return in-game rewards and ranks — and they are how new players find Halsir at all.

The forge

Keep the fire lit

Donations are used to pay for the server space, website, and content updates.

Halsir is free to play and stays that way. The store covers hosting and development — it does not sell advantage over other players.

Questions

Everything people ask before joining

What is the Halsir server IP?

The IP is mc.halsir.net. It runs on the default port 25565, so you do not need to type a port number — paste the address into Minecraft's multiplayer server list and connect.

What Minecraft version does Halsir run?

Halsir runs Minecraft Java Edition 26.1.2. Launch that version of the game to connect; the version shown on this site is read live from the server, so it is current.

Can I join Halsir on Bedrock Edition?

Halsir is a Java Edition server, and there is no Bedrock port currently accepting connections. That means console and mobile editions cannot connect. If Bedrock support matters to you, ask in the Discord.

What kind of server is Halsir?

Halsir is a lore-driven survival multiplayer world. It has an official canon maintained by staff, players may found their own religions, and land is claimed and protected — but the world's history is the point rather than a leaderboard.

Is Halsir whitelisted, and how do I get in?

Connect to mc.halsir.net to see the current state of access. Halsir has been running a staged rollout since development began, so if you are turned away at the door, the Discord is where access and beta waves are announced.

Are shaders and mods allowed on Halsir?

Shaders and performance-boosting mods are allowed. X-ray, auto-mining and any cheating mods are not, and abusing a bug rather than reporting it is treated as cheating.

Can I use an alt account?

You may have one alt account, and it is for AFKing only. Alts cannot claim kits, join events or take part in the economy, and AFK pools or macros used to dodge the idle kick are not allowed.

How much space do I need between my base and someone else's?

Leave roughly 150 blocks between your claim and anybody else's. Inside towns and other shared areas, the local rules take precedence over that spacing.
